Jeff, the Triathlete!

 

Jeff participated in the Casa Grande Triathlon again this year and did AWESOME! Het got 9th place out of 410 people! His total time was 58:51!!!!  Under an hour-WOW! Which also put him 2nd in his age group. Way to go Jeff!

Halloween 2010

Kyrsten turns 4!

Our little miss Kyrsten turned 4! A month or so before her birthday she planned out her own party. She wanted a “dog party” at the park with her friends, so that is what she had. It was HOT but she had fun and that’s what counts. She also decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. She was so brave. No tears or trying to back out. She made her decision and is loving them!

Party Time! The kids played at the park, ate pizza, pinned the nose and the dog and of course don’t forget the cupcakes and presents. Thanks to all of those who came and helped make Kyrsten’s birthday special!

After recovering from the party, we headed over to Claire’s for the ear piercing!

The next morning Jeff made chocolate chip pancakes and Kiki got her presents from us.

Kyrsten loves, The Saddle Club shows. She got hooked from the library. She says she watches them to learn how to ride a horse. She has been begging for a horse. Her toy horses will have to do for now!

Another like of Kyrsten’s- riding her bike. We felt like it was time for her to have her own instead of the old hand me down. She was very happy!

Jace and Peyton

My good friend Amanda recently had a baby girl. While she was over visiting, Jace wanted to hold Peyton. He was so cute with her. He kept wanting to hold her and was very serious about the whole thing. He was caring and soft! Hopefully he will treat his little brother the same way.

One more

Hayley lost another bottom tooth (a few weeks ago)! Her last new big tooth decided to come in far back and to the side, so it now has pushed out two teeth. Not sure where the new “adult” tooth is going to come in?

Anthem Sprint Triathlon

On September 4th, Jeff participated in the Anthem Sprint Triathlon. We were able to drive up to Anthem on Friday night and get a night away- thank you Grandma!! Also, thanks to Jason, Jeff’s brother, for driving up Saturday morning to watch and support Jeff! This triathlon was a little different, in that is was backwards. It started with the 5k run, then on to the 20k bike, and ended with the 4oom swim. Jeff finished 35th overall with a 1:09:41. He was 6th place in his age group! Way to go Jeff! He is now continuing his training for the annual CG triathlon.
