Update on our lives

Well, I thought I would take some time to update everyone on all of us.
Hayley- for one week we thought the terrible two's were coming to an end. Then we realized it was just a small break before terrible two's intensified. Hayley is trying to run the show bigtime. She is lucky she makes us laugh and can have nice moments to try to hide the crazy ones. Hayley absolutely loves to go swimming now. She likes to jump to Jeff from the side of the pool and try her best to swim. She has made big improvements since when we first moved here she wouldn't let go of your neck. Hayley now keeps her blankie in her room, which used to get dragged around everywhere, but the thumb sucking is not going away. We have a lot of work to do on that one!

Kyrsten- The biggest change for Kiki is that she is now sleeping on her belly. Even though she rolled over at 6 months. She really never did it much or seemed to realize she could. Last week she started rolling to her belly in her crib and now she sleeps like that. I think she sleeps better on her belly, but when she wakes up in the morning her eyes are so puffy/swollen. I guess her face isn't use to the weight yet. Kiki is trying to get mobile, but just can't figure it out yet. She kind of scoots on her bottom sometimes or pushes in circles on her belly. Right now she just wants you to hold her hands so she can walk. We are guessing she might walk before she ever figures our crawling. Kyrsten is learning it wave, usually after the person leaves. Jeff always says bye and waves then once he walks out the door, Kiki waves. She now has 6 teeth and soon to be 7. She seems to constantly be growing. I wouldn't be suprised if she catches up to Hayley by the end of the year.

Jeff and Katie- Jeff has been very busy with work and is loving it! Katie will love it when we actually get a paycheck-it's been a long month. It has been fun to hear Jeff's work stories and see him excited about work. Katie- I am busy at home trying to keep our house clean- which seems like an impossible task with two kids and a busy husband. I am doing my best to be a good homemaker- some days are easier than others. The girls and I need to get out more, but end up staying home driving each other crazy. It is fun!
We purchased a new Toyota Sienna this past weekend and are loving it. It is great to have extra space. Hayley loves being able to see out the window. My favorite feature is the automatic sliding doors at a push of a button, they are great.
Last but not least, we have been reading Harry Potter. I am actually done reading it. I stayed up till 2 am to finish it the other night. Jeff is trying to squeeze in some reading during his breaks and at night. I won't talk about the book since I am sure many people are reading it. It was great!
I think that is it for now. Hope everyone is doing great. It is fun to see everyone's blogspots. If you don't have one-get one!

Sounds like you guys are doing good. Glad you are enjoying your new van. It's fun to have a new toy. Too bad you have to pay for it huh?

Katie sounds like everything is falling into place for you guys!!! Sorry to hear Hayley is giving you guys such a hard time. When Rory turned 3 I thought that things would get better because we could communicate better. I was rudely awakened. Three's by far have been the worst because they can talk back and give you lip. I highly recommend the occasional watergun fight here and there. It works wonders ;)
