Kyrsten turned 1 yesterday! She had a fun filled day, well a few non fun parts like going to the doctor, but the rest of it was good. What better way to start off your birthday than with a chocolate muffin. She dug right in and wasn't so happy when I tried to take some away to give to Hayley:) I was a mean mom and scheduled Kyrsten's 1 year doctor appointment on her Birthday. Kyrsten absolutely does not like the nurse or doctor even looking at her and she really did not like the shots. The nurse and doctor said "she is a strong girl" a few times. I did get her stats which will make you laugh. Kyrsten weighed in at 24lbs 13oz- which is the 94%. Her height was in the 81% and her head circumference was in the 97%. That is our Kiki! You can tell she loves food by her cupcake pictures. Anyway in the afternoon we went out to lunch and to a park to fed the ducks. Well, Hayley fed the ducks and the little one's watched. Kyrsten was more interested in eating the grass. What a surprise:) For dinner Jeff grilled up some Mickey Mouse hamburgers. No I did not shape those myself- Sorry no Suzie homemaker here. Kyrsten absolutely loved her chocolate cupcake. Once again-store bought. I had lots of good thoughts/intentions to make her a cute cake, but in the end putting the cupcakes in the cart was easier than getting all the ingredients. Maybe next year! Back to Kiki- she ate the whole cupcake and boy was she a mess. We even found leftover chocolate up her nose. Lastly- presents. Kyrsten didn't understand really what to do so Hayley basically opened all her presents for her and played with all of them for her too. I'm sure she had to check them out to make sure they were good toys. That is about it. Today Kyrsten was not the happiest camper. We are guessing this is due to too much chocolate and those shots I made her get on her birthday! Hopefully she will be back to herself tomorrow! Happy Birthday Kyrsten!

Sounds like she had a good birthday even if she went to the doctor. She is so cute!!! Those mickey mouse hamburgers are so cute, I have never seen that before where did you get them?
Happy Birthday Kiki! Looks like you guys had fun! Aren't you so glad you can actually go outside during the day now? It is finally starting to cool down! We went the the park twice already this week. Are you guys going to the reception tommorrow?
