I wanted to write a post just to brag about what a nice husband I have! I of course have a story to give an example of his wonderfulness. Last night I was leaving to go to Mutual (Youth night) and the girls were not the happiest that I was leaving so as I was walking in the garage I heard Jeff tell the girls they could go wave out front. As I was pulling the van out of the garage all I could think of was about the possibility of Kiki running out the door and behind the van. I didn't know if Jeff had experienced her bolting out the door like she does with me. Anyway I was backing up extremely slowly and looking out my side to make she or Hayley didn't come around the corner. As I backed up a little more I saw Jeff standing there with the girls (of course he wouldn't let them run out-good dad!) so I was talking to them and backing up and heard a sound. I thought something must have been in the drive way. Then it occurred to me that I completely neglected to remember to watch the passenger side where our car is parked in the driveway. Oh yes- I scraped the NEW van on our car's side mirror. I had to pull forward and hear the wonderful screeching noise again and of course felt like a complete idiot. Why did it have to be me that put the first scratch on the van? Well, here is finally the part about Jeff. Instead of getting mad at me or yelling at me like any normal husband would do he told me not to worry about and not to let in ruin my evening and waved me off while smiling and holding the girls. I felt horrible for scratching our new van and being a bad driver, but I felt so blessed to have such a sweet husband who cared more about me and my happiness than the new car. I love you Jeff!!!

Yeah for wonderful husbands!! I would have been mortified too in front of my husband but luckily, it is just a material thing and they love us anyway!!
I knew that guy was a winner from the first time I met him standing outside his Jeep in front of the church. Besides, I'm sure your van looks much tougher now that there is a nice scratch in it.
What a good guy. Of course, I'm sure you didn't expect anything less. Aren't we lucky to have married to wonderful guys! That scratch will just add some character and always remind you of your great husband!
What a great guy! I could just see him with his big grin telling you it'll be okay. Sorry about that, though. Better your car than your kid!
