The last couple days have been somewhat eventful so I actually have some things to post about!
Last Friday, the girls went to their Mima's (my mom's). She was already watching my two nieces for the weekend and was a brave and kind Grandma to take on my two too. Before I left her with the craziness, I got some shots of the girls playing in the water on the porch. Our girls love playing together and and love going to Mima's. When I asked Hayley if she had fun at Mima's she said, "of course." Kyrsten was having so much fun that she basically pushed me out of my mom's house to leave. Thanks Mom for taking all the girls!!!! Since we were kid free for a night, Jeff and I got to go to dinner and a movie, and have such a peaceful night sleep- so nice!!
On Monday, our friends the Gardners had us over for a BBQ and the kids had a blast playing in the mud and then swimming later. Wish I took more pictures, but here is one of Kyrsten loving the mud! Thanks Gardners!
Lastly, yesterday was a big day for the TV lovers in our home, a.k.a. Jeff and Hayley. We finally ordered satellite TV. This is the first time in our 7 years of marriage that we have ever ordered TV. We had if free for a year in family housing at NAU when we first got married, but then we were always on a student budget and just used the good ol' antenna. We now have clear channels and more than a couple. We didn't order the best package or anything, but just having a few choices is great. I already know Hayley will quickly be in need of TV limits and maybe Jeff too:) I am sure it won't be long before a big screen TV is "needed."

Hayley looks so big in her preschool picture! How adorable. And how nice for you to have only one at home...it makes such a difference! I'm sure Kyrsten enjoyed the one on one attention. Congrats on the tv channels...you are one up on us! When do you want to have a Wii tournament by the way?
How nice of your parents to take your kids for a night. I hate rushing a date trying to get back to the babysitter so I can save money. How nice to get to SLEEP IN TOO! Your girls are so cute and are getting so BIG! Wow!
When Zak got home, I asked him what you guys are up to, and the satellite TV was one of the first things he mentioned. He is jealous. He also told me that Kiki was cracking him up, and that she is a really fun kid.
We need to get together again! Are you still wanting to go hiking sometime? We better not put it off too long or we will both be to big to go!
Wow, I thought you would never succumb to the evils of this world! Jeff, I am so proud of you for giving in to your inner appetite after 7 years.
TV-wow that's huge! Congrats to Hayley on starting preschool too.
I am so excited that you will be able to watch American Idol this year! I can't believe how much Hayley has grown...she looks like a mini you ( and by you I mean Katie)!
