More Voting!

Since we got such a huge response with our last vote (thanks to all you voters!), we thought we would try another one. I promise we won't make a habit of this. We are currently debating what kind of gaming system to purchase. As you can see to the right, the choices are between a Wii and a Xbox. If anyone cares here our views:
Jeff- Is leaning towards a Xbox. He doesn't want to always have to be active and he would like it for guys night. (He admits he has read and heard that the xbox breaks often and most of the games are VIOLENT!) So, killing, death, destruction....
OR
Katie- Obviously wants the Wii and feels it is the best choice for the family. The whole family can enjoy the Wii, it is active and fun, and it is cheaper! There is a wide variety of game choices. It can be used for guys nights, girls nights and family nights. (I know this blog is bias, but I am the one who posts so that's what happens!)

Anything by Nintendo is going to be the best for families with young kids. We have 6 DS's and a gamecube. We will also be getting a Wii.
If you care about the kinds and quantity of games your kids can play.... GO NINTENDO!!!!!

we had an x box, and sadly, it didn't get alot of use in our house. Most of the games have a teen rating or higher. They were difficultfor kids to play if any were appropriate.
we traded out for a wii and are alot happier with it. The whole fmaily really enjoys the games. It is a little harder on some of the games, but the animal crossing and mario are sure winners for little ones. I am curretly a big fan of the wii fit. It has a workout mode an everything, so you cna do arerobics, yoga, etc... I will let you know if it helps tone, for now, it's just alot of fun!

Basically if you want to go to heaven choose the Wii and if you want to go to He** well then choose the Xbox. Basically the choice is that simple

Ok, we have both...the wii is great for the kids, and the xbox was purchased solely for the purpose of HD DVDs, its way cheaper than an HD DVD player...so, it all depends on what you want it for, my kids love the xbox too, american idol and dance dance revolution are big hits with my girls! Good luck!

If you ever want to try the Wii, we know a fun family who has one and is willing to have a game night! No relaly, we LOVE the Wii. It's great for adults and kids. I am NOT a video game person, and it's awesome. Plus, there are games where you don't have to be totally active.
