Here she is, my big kindergartner! Hayley successfully completed her first week of school. It sure helps she has four good friends in her class. Hayley seems to be loving school, even though at the end of the day she can’t remember what they did all day. Last weeks summary:
-She saw her friend Ethan in line
-They practiced a fire drill and Parker got to ring the bell
-It was too hot for PE
-There was a milk explosion in the lunch box tub
-If you get a red card you go to the principal
I am guessing they do educational things in between all of that, maybe:)
Hayley got to pick what we would have for dinner for her special day. What did she pick: Fried Chicken and Green Beans. I don’t think that is a usual kids favorite, but she loves it. I also made her a cake (thanks for the idea Erica). I am no cake decorator but it turned out great for a 5 year old standards.
Hopefully Hayley will continue to love school and eventually remember what she did all day! Now I just have to get Kyrsten to play by herself and Jace to take some naps and I will be set. (I won’t be holding my breath)

They will never be able to remember what they did all day long, I am still trying to get Collin tell me.
Great job on the cake, Katie! Its all I can do to pull one favorite thing out of my boys that they did during the day.
She is a DOLL!!! I can't believe our girls are old enough for kindergarten. (Hallelujah!) Great job on the cake. It's a cute idea.
The cake is super cute! How crazy she is in kindergarten. Does it make you two feel old! hee hee
