Keeping Busy

We are definitely keeping busy with the kids. With the end of the school year comes concerts, recitals, graduation, start of family trips, and not to forget dealing with random viruses. Last week all three of the kids came down with a virus at the same time. All I can say is we survived and hope to never have all my kids sick at the same time again. (Sorry again Snells for passing that on). Healthy kids is a blessing!

Jace of course keeps me busy at home. He is a natural climber. That is what he loves to do and does it all the time! I cannot keep him off our kitchen chairs and tables. The poor kid has a new bump and bruise every week from falling off something or running into stuff. You literally can’t take your eyes off of him. He climbs the swing set, table/chairs, piano, bunk bed, drawers, you name it. He also started walking the last few weeks and learning to open our doors. See what I mean by busy little guy!

Kyrsten is doing good. She still loves to love on her brother which we thought would stop months ago, but the love/mauling continues. She is a cuddler! Kyrsten also loves to cut paper with my decorative scissors, which she is doing as a I type. At least we have fancy cut pieces of paper all over the floor! I think she is excited to have Hayley home for the summer and she will start her own preschool in the fall. She also is going to do swim lessons in a few weeks. It will be good for her to finally start getting to do classes instead of always watching Hayley.

Hayley is excited for summer, which always includes swimming, her favorite. I did get informed that we are horrible parents due to our lack of pool. Hayley truly is a teenager at heart. From the sass I get from her already, I fear for those days! Hayley started piano lessons this spring and did a great job. She is going to take the summer off but I am hoping to talk her into it again when school starts. She doesn’t realize how talented and smart she is! She of course will be doing her gymnastics through the summer along with swim lessons. She turns 6 this Thursday! Crazy!

Here are a few pictures from the last couple months:

I am so thankful for my backyard! The kids play and play. They love the sand and swing set. The heat is ruining our day time play, but they still go out in the evenings and have a blast.

Fun pictures! Your girls look so grown up and Jace is adorable. Boys are VERY busy. :) I'm excited for next month--thanks for all of your work on that. Hope you have a great summer with no more sick kids!

Hayley is getting to be such a big girl. I feel your pain, chasing after a crazy toddler! What a climber he is!

I LOVE that last picture of jace- it is hilarous. And I also laugh because I currently have little fancy scraps of paper all over my house- ella got to the mail with a pair of my scrapbook scissors. Must be a girl thing.

Cute pictures! I didn't know Hayley was playing the piano. She looks adorable with her feet dangling.
