Box=Fun

I finally unpacked this box from my room. It only took me what, 5 months. Anyway, every time we have an empty box the girls must play in it. I was thinking for Christmas I should just dig out all our moving boxes from the garage and make a big fort in the living room. It won't happen but fun idea. There were a couple days last week (the days these were taken on) the girls were actually playing together really well. It was so nice. Now they are back to screaming at each other and wanting attention from me. It was nice while it lasted. I hope there will be more days like this.

Pretty in Polka Dots

The following are some pictures of Hayley looking pretty and ready for church. Our church starts at 8:30am, so most Sundays it is a struggle to get everyone up and ready, especially Hayley. Usually she screams about her outfit not fitting right or not being the one she wants and she doesn't want to eat breakfast or let me come her hair. It is usually one big battle which ends with us all stressed before we even walk out the door. This particular Sunday Hayley was quite pleasant. She picked out her outfit and stuck with her first choice. She didn't complain about anything being to tight or not comfy. She even got her shoes on and let me brush and curl her hair and even wanted a headband. We were actually all ready and happy about 10 minutes early. It was wonderful. Since Hayley was being so nice and looked so pretty I had to take some pictures to capture the moment, in case it doesn't happen again for a while.

Blondie

Hayley sure seems old to me. I guess that is what happens when they get older:) She always gets comments on that bright blonde hair. Even though she talks back way to much, she makes us laugh quite a bit everyday. We have realized that Hayley received Jeff's TV junkie gene. She LOVES watching tv shows or movies and then loves to quote them or play out parts. That comes along with the TV gene. The thumb sucking is still going strong, even though we tell her we are going to have the orthodontist put something on the top of her mouth or that she will have to get braces. I think she would rather have that- it would be cool to her. Hayley loves getting herself dressed now, which means she wears 3 or 4 different outfits a day and half the time is in her pajamas. She also has to pick out Kyrsten's outfits everyday too! Hayley of course loves to boss Kiki around but Kyrsten is starting to learn how to fight back. So, that is Hayley's update.

Sisters???

Yes, they are sisters, but they don't have too much in common other than that! We are constantly amazed at how different our girls our. We sure love them though!!! Oh and blogging using this computer is so different than the Mac (refer to next blog) it is GREAT- I will even become more obsessed with it. Just what I need:)

These are pictures of my neice Tristin and Hayley comparing sizes. We know Hayley is short, but these pictures really make her look short and make Tristin look really tall, which she is I guess. Anyway...the funny thing is Hayley is older by three months. You could never guess by these pictures!

Sleeping Beauty

So, Hayley was watching a TV show in her chair and I was on the computer, checking other people's blogs probably and I look up and notice her head titled over. I got up to check on her and she was fast asleep. This would not be a problem except it was 4 in the afternoon. I tried to wake her up, but she wouldn't budge. At 5pm I tried again and she got up and went straight to her room and got in bed. So at 5:30 I went in her room and she still wouldn't get up so I just closed the door and let her sleep. She slept the whole night- well in the middle of the night she of course found her way to our bed, but still kept on sleeping. I guess she needed to catch up on a few hours of sleep. 4 o'clock bedtime everynight wouldn't be so bad:)

In the forest

Here is Hayley playing in what she calls her "forest." It really is a box we made into a little house. Some might call it a fort, but for Hayley it is a forest. She makes us laugh with a lot of words she says. We are trying to get them all on video to share. Anway she has been having fun in her forest.

The Next Karate Kid

Watch out- here comes Karate Kid Hayley! She has been practicing these moves a lot lately. She learned them from a character on Clifford. Who said TV is bad for kids!?

Future Genius

"Not in god"
We have no idea what this means, but EVERY time Hayley puts glasses on and pulls them down a little bit, she says, "not in god." We really are confused, but it makes us laugh.

Lookout Mtn.

Here we are on the top of Lookout Mountain in Golden, CO. Jeff's brother Jason and his wife, Brandi, came to visit us for the weekend. We had a great time with them. We dragged them around CO for two days. One of our stops was Lookout Mtn. It is a windy and steep drive up the mtn. but it has a beautiful view. Jeff has actually biked up the mountain, he is crazy. It made me nervous driving up it! As you can tell, Hayley was not that happy about taking pictures.

Easter Morning

So, Hayley was some what excited to get Easter gifts, but she saw the chocolate eggs first and had to get a start on those before she could look at what else she got.
Kiki didn't get any chocolate, so she opted for eating her next favorite treat- cardboard. I don't know why, but she loves it.

Easter

We had a nice Easter get together with our friends. We found out 2 year olds are not the best egg dyers, but it was fun anyway. We had to have the hunt in the house because it was snowy that weekend, the kids didn't seem to mind as long as they got the candy eggs!

I finally make my debut on our blogspot with our girls. Hayley of course shows her true personality- she is such a silly toddler. I love my girls!

Hayley was helping Jeff wash the car. It was actually in the 70's that day. Spring is here and we are loving it!

Hayley never misses a chance to make sure she is in a picture. I was getting some pictures of Kyrsten, and of course Hayley needed to jump in- and she can't forget her baby doll! Never a dull moment with our girls around!
