February

Okay, I have gotten so bad at posting. I always think about it, but then use my time looking at all my friends blogs and wishing they would put a new post up. I know these are late, but I thought I would go ahead and post pictures from our weekends in February. We actually got out and about so it deserves to be mentioned!

In the beginning of February my family came over and spent some time with us. We all went downtown- downtown Casa Grande that is- and walked around the art festival- I guess you could call it that. There were some booths for kids to create various projects. The girls seemed to really enjoy it and it was a beautiful day out.

The next Saturday we woke up and heading out the door to Casa Grande's Annual O'odham Tash Indian Powwow. Sounds exciting right!? Well, the kiddos had fun, I think... It wasn't all that I had dreamed of, but hey- we got out of the house and got to spend time with our friends (thank goodness they came) so we were good!

Also in February we had a Mitchell Family BBQ at the park. Jeff barbecued hot dogs and hamburgers and we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors until the sun went down and we headed back to Grandma's for dessert. Even though I remembered the camera I didn't take enough pictures, I was too busy talking- what a surprise.

Well, that's it for this post! I obviously need to get back on my game with this blog. Posting like this takes way too long.

I agree with Chelsea, maybe I should convince Derek to move there so we can go to the Powwow too! I'm sure it is fun to have family close and enjoy AZ winter! Glad to see a new post too!

What O'odham Tash wasn't the best thing you've ever been to? I mean, I thought it was SPECTACULAR...right up there with Disneyland and Vegas! Thanks for inviting us!

Pow wow aside, I am just jealous that you guys can go sit outside without freezing your buns off! Looks like lots of fun!
