Holiday Happenings 2008

I figured it was time to get to posting about our holidays. The last few weeks have flown by and have seemed to be quite busy. Christmas in the new house was wonderful!! I LOVE our house and am so thankful to be living here. Quite the Christmas gift! A few of Jeff's brothers and their families were able to come down to Casa Grande for Christmas. The week was filled with Mitchell family time. The girls had a blast playing their cousins morning, afternoon, and night. We enjoyed getting to hang out with them all. Being around family during the holidays is always a gift in itself! A few days after Christmas we were able to have our traditional mexican dinner with my side of the family, at our house, which was a first. It is great to have room now to fit everyone. We were supposed to be with them again tonight, having fun at the zoo lights, but due to the wonderful season of colds, we had to stay home with sick kiddos. Winter is hard to get through with kids! I wish I had taken pictures while all of these events were going on, but I was enjoying them all to much I didn't get out the camera. I got a few of Christmas morning and that's about it. I guess the memories will have to hold strong!

Coming down to see what Santa brought....

Kyrsten was more interested in opening the presents.
She ripped through hers then wanted to open ours.

Hayley and her "brown teddy bear" that she specifically asked Santa to bring. Except a few days later she said, "Mom, next year I am going to tell Santa I want a dark brown bear, not a light brown bear!"

We had a wonderful Christmas! Just wish I would have taken more pictures, as usual!

I have the same problem with my camera, I never take enough pictures! It sounds like it was a nice Christmas with plenty of room in your new house! BTW-Thor says "Hey, Call me." (5 4 1 7 9 1 7 0 1 3)-that message is for Jeff :)
